Though the Scrollwork I am exploring themes such as: memories of life in Kashmir Valley, culture, traditions, spiritual connections and the relationship between land and identity of Kashmiri Hindus before the exodus and in the contemporary context. The subject-form- material relationship is important in this body of work as one guides the other.
